Standard Deviation to Standardize Values

Abstract
The transformation of a quantitative variable toz-scores can also be called standard-deviation values. Itmeasures the distance of a value from the mean in standarddeviations. One purpose of the z-score is to help compare datavalues that are measured in different scales. With a given set ofdata values, the same z-scores will be computed regardless ofthe units of the values.
